Gearing Up this Semester

Hey Everyone,
We are getting ready to start up all of our Cry Africa projects this semester. Come to Chi Alpha this Thursday night at 7pm in the basement of Reese Hall to see what Cry Africa is all about and what you can do to help out.
We will be setting up the Cry Africa table on campus to take donations from students and also planning a huge bake sale. We are also beginning work on the thrid annual March for Africa and need volunteers to help put that into place!

Kicking off Cry Africa in 07

Hey Everyone,
We will be kicking off Cry Africa soon for 2007. Please feel free to post in comments any new ideas you might have for fund raisers and events to get the word out and raise money to help fight AIDS in Africa. Also, if you are interested in helping to plan next fall's March for Africa let me know because we are going to start gathering up sponsors and initial planning this January! God bless!

March for Africa is Comming Up Soon!

Hey Everyone,

The deadline is now passed for early registration for the March for Africa. All registration is now $25.00, however, if you are planning to register and haven't yet, please do soon so that we can ensure that you get a t-shirt.

If anyone would like more information about the March or is interested in volunteer opportunities please email marchforafrica@hotmail.com for more information.

March for Africa Event Schedule:
8:00am- Participant Check-in and Late Registration
9:00am- Runners head out
9:10am- Walkers line up and head out
11:00am- Closing and Thanks
11:15- Breakfast

If you are not planning to register until the day of the event, please be sure to show up before 9:00am so that you have plenty of time to Register before the event starts.

Cry Africa Donations at This Week's Table

This week we raised $46 and some change at the Cry Africa table just taking up donations. Next week we will be out there doing the same and selling our Cry Africa wristbands in the Humanities Pedestrian Walk-way on Monday from 2-4pm. Please stop in to help out or just come by to show your support. We're on our way! Thanks to everyone who helped out!

March for Africa Registration Now Open!

The time has come to begin registration for the March for Africa. Stop by the back table at Chi Alpha for a registration form or email fool4theLord7550@hotmail.com to have one sent to you. Just print it out and send it to our P.O. Box! The cost to participate is only $20 until October 12th!

Going to Watch Invisible Children

Monday, August 30th, we are going to watch Invisible Children at a church on Lovell Road. We will meet at 6pm at the Presidential ATM on campus and ride together. Come and see what its all about!
